If you love to sing, are especially passionate about choral music and are looking for an all-male choral experience, we would love to hear from you!
**We will rehearse from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm every Tuesday evening beginning Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in the choir room at Washington Street United Methodist Church at 1401 Washington Street in downtown Columbia. Feel free to come and join us to get a feel for the group before you audition.
For the audition:
- Please come prepared to sing a portion of a song no more than 2 minutes a cappella (without accompaniment). Pick a piece of music that fits your voice best; all genres including musical theatre, classical, pop, rock, etc. would be appropriate.
- You will be asked to sing some basic vocal exercises to determine the extent of your vocal range.
Palmetto Mastersingers Expectations:
- We expect our members to make a personal investment in the Palmetto Mastersingers.
- We expect that each member individually and collectively will strive for musical excellence.
- We expect members to make every rehearsal and performance a priority.
