If you love to sing, are especially passionate about choral music and are looking for an all-male choral experience, we would love to hear from you!
**We will rehearse from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm every Tuesday in the choir room at Washington Street United Methodist Church at 1401 Washington Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Feel free to come and join us to get a feel for the group before you audition.
For the audition:
- Please come prepared to sing a portion of a song no more than 2 minutes a cappella (without accompaniment). Pick a piece of music that fits your voice best; all genres including musical theatre, classical, pop, rock, etc. would be appropriate.
- You will be asked to sing some basic vocal exercises to determine the extent of your vocal range.
Palmetto Mastersingers Expectations:
- We expect our members to make a personal investment in the Palmetto Mastersingers.
- We expect that each member individually and collectively will strive for musical excellence.
- We expect members to make every rehearsal and performance a priority.
